Sanjeeda Shaikh says singles are a great platform for talent to showcase themselves
The pretty actress Sanjeeda Shaikh, recently worked with composer-singer Jigar Saraiya on a music video.
This was Jigar’s on-screen debut and the actress had a great time working with him. Talking about it she said, “The experience of actually doing a video with Jigar has been great because he is a fab human being and I like to work with people not only because they are talented but also because they are great people to be around. Gradually we became friends, and it is always fun to shoot with people you know.”
Sanjeeda feels that the song she starred in, is a track that one can listen to on the loop. “When I heard the song for the first time, I kept asking Jigar to make me listen to it again and again. So, I feel that, if I can keep listening to the song multiple times, the audience will obviously connect with the song. That is the beauty of this track. It has a connection with you and when people will listen to the song, they will have their own experiences to share with the song.”
Considering every single day there are so many singles being released, we asked Sanjeeda about what she felt was the USP of this song and how was it different from the regular love songs? She said,“'Ruka Hoon' is not just a very melodious, it has Jigar's voice, it has both of us in the album and it is a cool and stylish video. Also the location where we shot - Istanbul - is one of the other USPs."
“I personally feel that Singles are a great medium for even a new talent to showcase what they are capable of,” she signed off.
