Lata Mangeshkar hospitalised as a precautionary measures: Official's statement
Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to Breach Candy hospital today in the afternoon after the singer complaint about chest congestion and breathing issues.
While there were reports on the singers' health which stated that she is extremely critical and had been put on a ventilator, her niecea and sister Usha stated that Lata is stable and is slowly recovering.
Here we got our hands on an official statement given by her spokesperson. According to the statement, the ace singer is out of danger and is stable. The statement reads, " Lata Mangeshkar ji had a viral chest congestion.
Keeping her age in mind, as a precautionary measure, she has checked in to Breach Candy Hospital in order to ensure antibiotics on time to prevent any more infection. She is stable and recovering."
Lata Mangeshkar's sister Usha Mangeshkar told news agency PTI, "Lata didi is still in hospital. She is under observation. She is doing absolutely well and is stable. She will be discharged by tomorrow." She added, "We thought it''s better to treat her at a hospital because of the viral infection so she is there for today."
Moreover, sister Asha Bhosale also visited the hospital later in the day to pay visit to her sister, Lata.
